Arsenal managed a brilliant win over Manchester City this past weekend, a crucial 3 points for the title race as well as Arsenal's first time getting a point over City since the 2017/18 season (ESPN www.ESPN.com). They managed this feat without their star boy Bukayo Saka who is set to be out of action for at least a couple weeks.
Arsenal have what could very well be a challenging few games without Saka. Kicking things off with a classic London derby match away against rivals Chelsea, who have struggled for the past year or so but are now seeming to slowly find their rhythm. Arsenal showed grit against City and toughed it out until the 86th minute where Martinelli managed to find the back of the net. I think Arsenal should not have too much trouble beating Chelsea, but I do expect a fight from the blues, so we are going with a tie.
Early next couple weeks Arsenal has an upcoming Champions League clash with none other than Sevilla, the same side that knocked Arsenal out of last year's Uefa Europa League in the round of 32. Sevilla has not had the best start to the season currently sitting 14th in La Liga, but Sevilla knows what it takes to have an illustrious run in a European tournament. We here at the Footy Corner believe Sevilla will pull the upset win over the Gunners. Saka could not come back quick enough! Let us know what you think in the comments below.
